This district produced the crops of rice, weat and also produced fruits pineapple, coconut, banana, mango etc. Beautiful lakes is also here. This district in the Chittagong Division. At the time of partition of India and Pakistan, Bangladesh was part of Pakistan and called name east Pakistan. Banglaqdeshi people were not happy for living with Pakistan.
