Short brief history of Rajbari district of Bangladesh
Rajbari is a district in central Bangladesh. It is a part of the Dhaka Division.Rajbari is a district of Bangladesh. At first it was declared as a district in 1975 on 14th August and Md Wajed Ali Chowdhury nominated as a Governor of the District Council. It is under Dhaka division. It was named by the renowned ruler Raja Shurjoprashad Sen. It was a part of Faridpur District before. Later on, it was separated from Faridpur and rose as Rajbari. It has produced famous personalities such as Maulvi Tamizuddin Khan (the speaker of Pakistan's Constituent Assembly), Yakub Ali Chowdhury, eminent Bangladeshi cartoonist Rokonuzaman Khan Dadabhai, and scientist Kazi Motahar Hossain.
The said district produced many crops Paddy, jute, sugarcane, turmeric, ground nut, oil seeds, pulses etc. and Fruits mango, jamun, custard-apple, tamarind, pomelo, jackfruit, papaya, pineapple, badam, banana, coconut, lichi, pomgranate, fig, haritaki, palm etc.
