Short brief history of Badin, Sindh Province of Pakistan
Badin is the District of sindh province of Pakistan. Badin was the centure of the ancient Indus Valley. Islam came into the region by 711. The areas remained under the control of the Caliphate until it came under control of the Ghaznavids.
As per National Census 1998 Sindhi in Vicholi and Kutchi dialects is primary language in the district, spoken by 74 percent of the total population in the district predominantly in rural areas. The next prominent language Punjabi with 17 percent speakers, Urdu 5 percent, Balochi 2 percent and other is 2 percent.
