Short brief history of Faisalabad
Lyallpur city was founded by Sir James Loyal. Prior to the British making the area into an urban center, largely consited of various villages. Lyallpur city to grow rapidly. In 1077 Lyallpur was renamed Faisalabad in honor of King faisal of Saudi Arabia. The Faisalabad is now well known as Manchister of Pakistan for its industrial activites. 8th bazar with in the bounds of circular road. The famous clock Tower of Faisalabad and 8th bazar was designed in a pattern of Union Jack. Faisalabad has established a dry port.
