Rahim Yar Khan is a district of Punjab province of Pakistan. Rahim Yar Khan is bounded on the north by district Muzaffargarh, on the east by Bahawalpur district, on the south by Jaisalmeer (India) and Ghotki district of Sindh province and on the west by Rajanpur district. Rahim Yar Khan is divided in 3 main physical features. River side area canal irrigated area and desert area which is called cholistan.

The main crops of the district are cotton, sugarcane and wheat. And the main Industries of the Rahim Yar Khan  are Textile, Cotton gining and pressing, sugar cotton seed oil.
