Short brief of Kalar Kahar
Kalar Kahar is 42 KM away from Chakwal on Chakwal Sargodha road. Now the bank of Motorway. This is historical place. Kalar Kahar is known for its peacocks and for the Takhat-e-Babri. A flate built of stone by first Mughal King Babar to address his army while coming down from Kabul in the quest of the crown of Delhi. During his stay at Kalar Kahar, Babar also planted a garden, which still exists. The said bagh called the Bagh-e-Safa. Kalar Kahar lake is a salt water lake. It is a famous and popular tourist resort.
